Bed moving & reassembly · London, ON
IKEA KURA Bed: Taken Apart, Moved and Rebuilt as a Loft Bed
A London family was moving to a new home and needed their child’s IKEA KURA reversible bed to come with them. We took the bed apart in the old bedroom, moved every panel, rail and slat to the new home, and put it back together the same day.
The KURA can be set up two ways: as a low bed, or flipped upside down as a loft bed with play space underneath. We first rebuilt it as a low bed, then flipped it into the loft position so the family could see both options and choose the one that worked best for the room.
- Service: Furniture disassembly, moving help and bed frame assembly
- Furniture: IKEA KURA reversible bed
- What we did: Careful disassembly, labelled hardware, transport, full reassembly and conversion to loft bed
